Ask the Experts: An Education Program for People
with ALS and Their Families

Each year, The International Alliance of ALS/MND Associations (Alliance) convenes its Annual Meeting in conjunction with the International Symposium on ALS/MND. On November 30^th in Philadelphia, the Alliance organized an Ask the Experts education program for people living with ALS and their families. Two hundred and fifty people attended four outstanding presentations given by ALS scientists and clinicians.

Ask the Experts was co-sponsored by The ALS Association and the ALS Hope Foundation. Supporting this educational meeting were Aventis, Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, the Farber Family Foundation and DynaVox Technologies.

Below is a brief overview of this conference as many of the concepts and research news will be expanded on at the International Symposium.
