Events at a Glance - National and Local
Local Chapter Events
Special events provide an opportunity for the community to get involved in supporting the local activities and programs of an ALS Association Chapter. Chapters hold a variety of events, from golf tournaments, to cook-offs, auctions and garage sales. Every chapter also participates in the annual Walk to Defeat ALSTM.

The following are events and programs coordinated through the National Office. If there's an opportunity to get involved in your area, contact your local chapter.
Events that support the programs of the National office
Often times people in communities outside the service area of a local chapter hold a special event to benefit ALS research or the programs of The ALS Association. If appropriate, we'd like to recognize those events. If you've planned such an activity, please send a brief description of the event to communityservices@alsa-national.org.
